Navigating The Entrpreneur Sandwich™

Essential Strategies for Balancing Business Demands and Family Caregiving Responsibilities

I wrote this book because I live it - and because the entrepreneurs I work with were living it too, mostly in silence. This is not a book about having it all. It is a book about navigating the season of life when your business and your family both need everything you have - and showing up fully for both.

With personal stories from Dorie Clark, Chip Conley, ,and 11 other contributors who shared their own experiences, this book builds a community around a conversation that has been happening in private for too long.

Book 2

The Responsible One

My second book explores the family caregiving dynamics that most people never talk about

- the unspoken weight carried by the one in the family who steps up, manages everything, and rarely gets asked how they are doing.

The one who takes on changing or adapting their careers, moving into entrepreneurship so they can gain flexibility to manage others.

The one who makes it look easy, never looks at ‘what if’ and knows the importance of family and business.

Most importantly, how the Responsible One can find the support and resources they need.

Formerly EdTech Speaks - now in its 6th year and ranked in the top 100 educational technology podcasts.

I launched this podcast in 2019 because I wanted to have the conversations that weren’t happening at conferences - the real ones, with practitioners who had built something and learned from it. Six years later, it is still the most directr way to bring the convergence of education, technology, business and people together. Available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and all major platforms.
